The Collected Residence

Set inside a historic Italianate building in Kingston, NY, this one-bedroom apartment was designed to feel layered, collected, and full of character. With 12-foot ceilings and tall arched windows pouring in light, we leaned into dramatic, enveloping color in the entry and bedroom, creating spaces that are rich, intimate, and intentional. The living room is anchored by an inky sectional and a rare 1930s motion picture backdrop spanning the wall, while vintage rugs, collected objects, and warm wood tones bring depth and personality to every corner. The result is a home dripping in style — cinematic, storied, and unmistakably one-of-a-kind.
